Sodium Chloride with chemical formula of NaCl, is a pure grade of sodium chloride salt. It is widely used as weighting agent in water-based muds, oil-based muds, completion fluids and work-over fluids. The minimum purity of Sodium Chloride is 97%.
Swallowed: Though ingestion is not thought to produce harmful effects (as classified under EC Directives), the material may still be damaging to the health of the individual.
