Description
OBM-Viscosifier is a high-quality grade of organophilic clays which is widely used in oil-based mud systems as a viscosifier. OBM-Viscosifier optimize hole cleaning and suspend cuttings and weighting agents. It has a long-term effect, and is stable in low to high temperatures (up to 350 °F). It is not suitable for clay-free oil-based muds.

Applications

FIRST AID MEASURES
Eye Contact:
If this product comes in contact with the eyes:
- Wash out immediately with fresh running water.
- Ensure complete irrigation of the eye by keeping eyelids apart and away from eye and moving the eyelids by occasionally lifting the upper and lower lids.
- Seek medical attention in event of irritation.
- Encourage patient to blow nose to ensure clear breathing passages.
- Ask patient to rinse mouth with water but to not drink water.
- Seek immediate medical attention.
- If swallowed do NOT induce vomiting.
- If vomiting occurs, lean patient forward or place on left side (head-down position, if possible) to maintain open airway and prevent aspiration.
