Electricity is one of the most important industries that has a direct impact on the life of all human beings. The usage of electricity in lighting cities is began in 1882.
The electricity industry has four different areas. For instance, generating, distributing and retailing it to users are the main parts of this industry. In most countries, the government is the main player in generating and distributing electricity and the rules and pricing are under the governments’ control, although private companies have started to enter these areas in the past years.
Nowadays, most developed countries have tried to get their requirement for electricity from nuclear plants and clean energy such as wind and solar, instead of fossil fuels.
Some common chemicals which are widely used in generating-electricity industries are Natural gas, LPG, Sodium Chloride and natural gas liquids (known as NGL).
